Now just as a note, these are perks I've noted about my queen. They may not be able to be applied to all queens.

1. You always have someone to ask when it comes to your outfit and makeup.

2. "Girl Talk" is a thing, and they are open to it.

3. Your skills of quick wit won't get dulled down.

4. The level of bitch that you can handle will increase.

5. You might be able to borrow some clothes.

6. Thrifting is a whole new adventure.

7. Finally, someone else who understands the pains of wearing a bra!

The only downside: That bitch will abscond with your perfume.

Nanny 101

When looking after someone else's child, things can go really well or really bad. I'm lucky to be in the former situation. In my year and a half of doing this, I have learned so much. Here are the top five things I have learned. 1. ALWAYS have a "plan B" in case you need to switch things up quickly on the spot. 2. GPS is a must , for hopefully obvious reasons. 3. Duffel bags are a god send. Toss in what you need, things you may need, and a few things you have no clue about. 4. Have spare phone numbers and all addresses written down . Its good to have a back up. You will never know when your phone dies and you have to borrow someone's in an emergency situation. (True story) 5. Remember what the word "appropriate" means and how it should be applied in your situation. Broke-A** College Student

Even after college, being broke seems to be a long lasting side effect. There seem to be two primary reasons for this. 1. "First Jobs" generally suck. They pay minimum wages, screw you on hours, and are emotionally taxing. I don't care if all you're doing is flipping burgers, the stigma of being unmotivated and stupid still hurts. And the longer you listen to those stigmas, the more likely you are to start believing them. There are both studies and plenty of old wives tales to back this up. Then to top it all off, all of the "god jobs" generally require "prior experience". Which means you are stuck at that "first job" until you get some "experience". 2. Trying to live (even with roommates) is too Goddamn expensive! Want to live close to work so you can ride a bike or take the bus to work to be more ecologically minded? Well, do you have 3 times the rent as your income? No? Well tough shit, go look elsewhere. T

Proof of the Inner White Girl

I have been living in California for most of my life. I know there are stereotypes about women from California (thanks a lot Katy Perry), but they all have a small shred of truth to them. That being said, here is my personal list of things I have caught myself or my friends doing. 1. When you budget for the influx of Pumpkin Spice goods. 2. You use Vanilla Spice creamer in your coffee and then dip your Limited Edition Dunkin Doughnuts Vanilla Spice Pop-tarts into it. (Sad to admit, this one is on me.) 3.
