Proof of the Inner White Girl

I have been living in California for most of my life.  I know there are stereotypes about women from California (thanks a lot Katy Perry), but they all have a small shred of truth to them.

That being said, here is my personal list of things I have caught myself or my friends doing.

1. When you budget for the influx of Pumpkin Spice goods.
2. You use Vanilla Spice creamer in your coffee and then dip your Limited Edition Dunkin Doughnuts Vanilla Spice Pop-tarts into it. (Sad to admit, this one is on me.)
3. You panic when you can't find your favorite eyeliner. (We've all had this one, right?)
4. You "can't even" when your Instagram account freezes.
5. You lose your mind over the newest color from your favorite makeup brand and you just have to get it. (Thank you Wet n' Wild.)
6. Fall starts when Starbucks releases Pumpkin Spice.
7. Your day is ruined when Starbucks isn't available.
8. You wish your GPS would just say "Turn right at the Starbucks with a drive-through".
Just, ohmygawd Starbucks!!!

Please, if you have anything to add, do feel free to leave it in the comments bellow!

"Changes" - Coming Soon to a Life Near You!

Changes: they happen.  And they can suck.  A famous few include puberty (everything is changing), the seasons (unless you are here in California), and the political climate (which I will NOT be getting into).  My point is that they exist and, like it or not, they help make the world go round. I have been on a hiatus from blogging (and most of the things I enjoy) for the last few months because of this driving force - though if change were to ever have a drivers licence it would get that licence revoked so fast for speed infringements alone.  By last few months I mean since January.  So almost 7 months?  Change has recently dictated my daily life.  So here is a quick rundown of what's been going on. 1. The title of this blog has changed to reflect the main change... That could be phrased a lot better... But you get the point.  The trio has met it's end.  It's been a good year and some change (see that pun there?), but the boyfriend and I ...

You realize you're becoming an adult when...

1)  You see low gas prices and you absolutely HAVE to stop. (Even if its only a gallon or so that you'll be buying.  Who would pass up that type of opportunity?) 2)  You get excited when new sale flyers arrive in the mail! - grocery sales, that is. 3)  Seeing bills in your mail no longer phases you.     *Bonus: You write down the due dates on your calendar (or at least set reminders for yourself) 4)  You worry more about how your LinkedIn profile looks than your status on Face Book. 5)  "Laundry Day" is no longer governed by your last pair of underwear or socks. 6)  A "late night" ends at 11:30 for you. 7)  You've taken on this thing called "responsibility", and are trying your best to at least "fake it". 8)  You get frightened awake by nightmares of being past due on your rent... just after you've paid it. I probably missed a lot of small points, but these are the one's that I have noticed so far.  And can yo...
